Uplifting the quality of lives of Deaf persons and DAU workers
WHO WE ARE
Deaf Action Uganda (DAU) is affiliated to and in Partnership with Deaf Ministries International (DMI). It is a Christian Organization which was established in 1993 by a Norwegian-Australian couple Lill and Neville Muir. Who also are the founders of Deaf Ministries International.
We are the leading non-denominational Christian Deaf Organization involved in the spread of the word of God to the Deaf people in Uganda.
We are a Christ centered ministry.

OUR VISION
Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Deaf People in Uganda and the Great Lakes Region.

WHAT WE DO
Evangelism
We carry out evangelism ministry activities through our network of 19 churches across the country. These churches are supported by a number of evangelists, who travel long distances to minister to the various congregations.
Deaf Church Leaders
DAU runs a Bible Training School, located in Kampala, which acts as the main training center for DMI workers in Africa. We make disciples of the Lord, training Deaf Church leaders to the harvest of souls.
Education Sponsorship
Education for the Deaf is also an issue in our Ministry. We work with other partners to increase opportunities by providing scholarships to Deaf young people to allow them to acquire an education.
Our MISSION
Building spiritually strong mature Deaf Christians, through Evangelism, formation of Churches and teaching of the word of God through Churches and religious educational centers.
Our Values
- We are Christians in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ.
